Sophie Nowakowska is an independent curator, artist manager and an art critic with a Master's in Curating Contemporary Art from the Royal College of Art. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Art Criticism at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
Her work ranges from exhibitions to panel discussions and workshops, all aimed at fostering communication with audiences and supporting emerging artists. As a founder of Artist Management .ART, she represents and supports emerging and mid-level artists in developing their art practices and careers. Through personalised mentoring sessions, supportive community creation and access to valuable resources, Sophie focuses on helping creatives build confidence, refine their artistic vision, and strengthen their professional image.
Sophie serves as a mentor at I LIKE NETWORKING, an award-winning career platform supporting underrepresented groups in the creative industries.
She has delivered talks at UAL, VISP, WORK SHOW GROW, AA2A and may more. She also participated in panel discussions hosted by the All About Art Podcast, and served as a judge for an award at ST.ART Gallery. Additionally, she has curated two commissioned exhibitions for Crawley Council and is a Founding Member of the Critic's Picks.
